Here are 3 home remedies to combat cellulite that you can use individually or in combination: a cinnamon wrap, a blend of essential oils and an invigorating sea salt scrub.
Are you afraid that nothing will help you hated cellulite? Home remedies really work. Here are my 3 proven, favorite treatments that I systematically “treat” myself.
Recipe 1. Cinnamon wrap for cellulite
To make a cinnamon wrap, you will need:
- 4 tablespoons of coconut oil,
- 4 tablespoons of cinnamon
- 4 drops of orange essential oil,
- cling film.
How to make a body wrap?
Start by preparing a mask and then applying it to problem areas. Heat 4 tablespoons of coconut oil to a liquid form. After removing the oil from the burner, add 4 tablespoons of cinnamon and 4 drops of orange oil to it. Then mix everything thoroughly.
Apply everything to the problem area of the skin, and then wrap it with cling film. Leave the wrap on the skin for 20-30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with cold water. To maintain the effect, repeat the ritual at least 3 times a day.
Cinnamon wrap effects
What effects can you expect? Cinnamon has cleansing and warming properties. The treatment increases the temperature of the skin and stimulates microcirculation in the blood vessels. Wrapping the body with cling film opens the pores of the skin and allows the active substances to penetrate better. Coconut oil smoothes the skin, giving it a firm and youthful appearance. Finishing the blend with a little orange essential oil makes you feel relaxed and refreshed. It also has a firming and anti-cellulite effect.
Recipe 2. A blend of essential oils for cellulite
essential oils for cellulite In the fight against cellulite, you can also take advantage of the benefits of essential oils.
To compose an anti-cellulite bomb, prepare:
- 5 drops of essential juniper berry oil,
- 5 drops of fennel essential oil,
- 5 drops of essential black pepper oil,
- 5 drops of essential grapefruit oil,
- 30 g of grape seed oil,
- brown glass bottle with a stopper.
Pour the grape seed oil into a dark glass bottle – it will be the base for the blend of oils that actively affect your skin.
Then add 5 drops of the essential oils of juniper berries, fennel, black pepper and grapefruit. Stopper the bottle and mix the ingredients well by shaking it well. Rub the skin with cellulite with the prepared preparation every day. You will be able to notice the first effects after a month of use.
Why do essential oils work against cellulite?
Let’s start with the properties of individual oils. Juniper berry oil has a strong antibacterial effect, but it also helps to get rid of excess water from the body and accelerates blood circulation. Thanks to it, you have a chance to remove water cellulite, the main cause of which is excess water in the cells.
Fennel oil helps cleanse the body of toxins. It also has a dehydrating effect, so remember to drink at least 2 liters of water a day while using this product.
Black pepper oil will speed up circulation, which in turn will help break down fat cells. What’s more, such a drug will help unclog pores and relax muscles.
Finally, grapefruit oil contains an enzyme called bromelain, which has anti-inflammatory and anti-swelling properties. It can also break down cellulite cells. The whole townspeople are combined with my favorite grape seed oil – a magic ingredient rich in vitamin E, which always improves the appearance of the skin.
Recipe 3. Peeling with olive oil and sea salt for cellulite
Oil for cellulite For a scrub with olive oil and sea salt, prepare:
- 1 cup of sea salt,
- 1/4 cup of olive oil.
Making such a scrub is extremely simple. Add 1/4 cup olive oil to a cup of sea salt. Rub the scrub into problematic places with circular movements. Do this massage for at least 10 minutes. After peeling, rinse the rubbed area with cold water so that the salt does not irritate and dry the body excessively.
Action of sea salt scrub
Sea salt scrub has a double effect. First of all, a coarse-grained sea salt scrub rubbed into the skin with circular movements helps to mechanically break down fat lumps and smooth the skin. Sea salt has a cleansing and healing effect on your body, incl. accelerates microcirculation in skin cells. Since salt tends to dry out, the peeling effect is counterbalanced by the presence of a moisturizing and nourishing olive oil. Shop makeup yes for products against cellulite.
